Episode #26 of "A Public Education" is set for broadcast this Saturday April 28 at 6:30 pm on Global Lethbridge, continuing on Shaw Television throughout May and viewable on www.apubliceducation.ca beginning the first of May.
The host of this episode is Rachael Andrew, Principal of St. Paul Elementary School in Lethbridge.

Fleetwood-Bawden Elementary offers the only grade 1 to 5 Montessori programming in Lethbridge. Principal Karen Rancier, teachers Claire Mazurek and Jackie Fletcher and several students talk about this unique form of education.
A program called TEAM 109 at St. Francis Junior High helps students with diverse learning needs build confidence and self esteem. Interviews with teacher Jill McNally, grade 9 student Heather Boychuk and her mother Cathie.
Last month the Lethbridge Regional Science Fair was held at the U of L. It attracted students with a keen interest in science and discovery including students Alison Lee, grade 9 of Kate Andrews High School, Claire McMahon, Grade 7 of Gilbert Paterson Middle School and Carsen Haycock, grade 8 of St. Francis Junior High School. Also organizer Chris Roedler, president of Southern Alberta Technology Council.
Greg Skelton holds the rare position of Junior and High school teacher AND Kindergarten teacher at Noble Central a K to 12 school in Nobleford.
Education student Jacqueline Grue is gaining valuable classroom teaching experience as a PS II at Foothills Composite High School in Okotoks. As part of the Faculty of Education's Field Experiences program she's being guided by teacher associate and U of L alumnus Lyndsi Irwin.
And students at Our Lady of the Assumption Elementary are celebrating 30 consecutive years of raising money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Over the years they've collected more than $250,000.00 by skipping rope!
