Chinook High School: School Colours, Team Name and Logo

Chinook High School Principal Clark Bosch has been involved with a committee of students, parents and staff charged with selecting the school colours, team name and logo. A community wide request for submissions resulted in 296 submissions resulting in 95 different mascot submissions and over 150 different colour combinations being provided for consideration. The committee developed a short list of 8 team names and 5 colour combinations. Once again the entire community was invited to participate in an online survey, with over 1500 votes cast.

The committee used the results to choose the school colours and team name. Subsequently a team logo was developed. These were unveiled at the Board Meeting.

The the team name is Coyotes and the new school colors are black, gold and red.
